A mother takes twenty years to make a man of her boy, and another woman makes a fool of him in twenty minutes.
Well,this quote/ observation by the Poet is a common issue around the world in all Countries. More so in countries where there are no social security measures for older citizen, Parents always look forward to their being taken care of by their son in their old age.
But the moment the poet's / Mother's young man gets married the newly wedded daughter in-law's sole role becomes as how to master mind & execute a plan to oust the elders from their roof.
( This is a common practice even today in a Country like India where from I am endorsing the view of the Poet.)
