Mike Pence

Mike Pence (b. June 7, 1959, Columbus, Indiana) is an American politician, lawyer, and author, best known as the former Vice President of the United States (2017–2021) in Donald Trump’s administration. His public image is associated with conservative values, Christian faith, and deep involvement in the Republican Party, where he became known for firm positions on family life, religious freedom, and the limited role of government.

His political career included 12 years as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives (2001–2013), where he was a constant voice for conservatism, as well as his term as governor of Indiana (2013–2017). During this time, he promoted business-friendly fiscal policies, tax cuts, and pro-life measures. As Vice President, he played an active role in consolidating the Republican agenda and coordinating the federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
