Alfred Delp was a Jesuit priest, member of the German Resistance. He was one of the personalities of the Kreisau Circle and an exponent of the Catholic resistance in Nazi Germany. Delp was involved in the July 20, 1944, attempt to assassinate dictator Adolf Hitler. After the attempt, he was arrested, sentenced to death and executed.
