Betty Friedan (Betty Naomi Goldstein)

A representative figure of the Women's Movement in the United States of America. Her book published in 1963 "The Feminine Mystique" is considered  the "second wave" of American feminism of the 20th century. In 1966, Bety Friedan has founded the National Organization for Women that aimed to bring women "into the mainstream of American society now fully equal partnership with men". She was elected the first president of National Organization for Women.
