Lucius Apuleius Platonicus was a famous Roman writer, best known for his novel "Metamorphoses" or "Asinus Aureus" ("The Golden Ass" or "The Golden Donkey"). He was born around 125 AD. and lived during the Roman Empire. He was one of the most important Latin authors of his time.
