Placide Gaboury

Placide Gaboury is a professional Canadian essayist, teacher, painter and pianist, born in Brussels (Manitoba) on October 5, 1928 and died in Sainte-Ursule, in the Mauricie region, province of Quebec, Canada, on May 27, 2012. He was a Jesuit from 1949 to 1983. He is also credited with the expansion of the New Age in Quebec, in part following the publication of his work in 1978, La Voie initiatica.
