James Broughton

He was part of the San Francisco Renaissance mouvement, American avangarde poetry. He was member of the Radical Faeries, a worldwide network and counter-cultural movement seeking to reject hetero-imitation and redefine queer identity through spirituality. It is well known his activity as member of "The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence serving" charity, being known under the name of Sister Sermonetta.
