Cornelia Funke (Cornelia Maria Funke)

Cornelia Maria Funke is a German author of children's fiction. She is known for the book Stories about book-eaters, ghosts from the attic and other fairy-tale characters (2004, translated into Romanian in 2007) and for the trilogy Inima de Cerneăla (2004-2008, translated into Romanian in 2014). His literature mainly falls into the fantasy and adventure genres. She currently resides in Beverly Hills, California.
